Hawk Effigy Trails, Lawrence Shoals, Lake Oconee, Putnam County,
Georgia. Saturday Cassidy and I Arrived at the Campground about
9:30am. We got there in time to set up camp before the Festivities
started. Cassidy had a great time swimming in Lake Oconee. It
was a good thing we brought our row boat along because the beach
was a long walk around the cove. We were able to just row a short
distance to the beach. Oconee Outfitters where there with free
Kyak rides. Cassidy and I took a tadem out to the middle of the
lake and back. It was Beautiful, Cassidy and I got in sync with
our paddle strokes and were haulin.
I
came in 3rd in the Time trial, Cassidy came in 4th. I didn't race
the Cross Country race.
