DIRECTIONS
-
From Atlanta Area:
-Take I-75 south to Exit 201 (Jackson/Barnesville)
-Turn left and follow Hwy 36 towards Jackson
-Travel several miles to "High Falls Rd." See signs for
Dauset, High Falls, Indian Springs, and "Ridgeway Christmas
Tree Farm."
-Take a right at "High Falls Rd" -Pass Ridgeway Christmas
Tree Farm on right -About 2 miles after watch for our sign and take
"Mt. Vernon Ch. Rd" on left -Dauset Trails is 3.3 miles
on left- 360 Mt. Vernon Rd.
Dauset Trails is a private, non-profit nature center with some of
the best trails in Georgia. There are 1100 acres of scenic woods,
fields, creeks and lakes. You can see live animals on exhibit and
in the wild while you hike and bike 18 miles of trails. There is
no fee for riding the trails, but they do accept donations at the
visitor's center.
